Grow Your Business Through Video Marketing

Video marketing is not that difficult. If you’re reading this, it means you already have the tools to create your own videos. Windows PC’s come with the movie maker program that’s great for making your own videos. I am not a MAC user, but I am sure they come with the same tools. You can even use your smartphone to record. There are a lot of video editing apps available which will help you to edit the videos and share them with your social media handles. Other than a video creation program, the only other things you would need are a microphone/headset and a webcam, but only if you choose to make videos with your voice and face. It’s not a must-do.

How do you make videos? They could be as simple as you speaking on a webcam, explaining something. You could create a slideshow with something like powerpoint and turn it into a video. You could do something in between.

While it’s not for everyone and might be out of many people’s comfort zones, the best way to build trust with potential customers and buyers is to show your face and let them hear your voice. They will feel more comfortable when they see you are a real person. People like seeing the real YOU. So, just go ahead, record a video and share the story with your audience.

Are you that shy type of person or introvert or has some inhibition? No problem, join an FB group that allows you to do life and start doing it. The biggest problem lies in starting something. I myself started doing lives in such a group. I even had a friend during my first live that helped me reduce my fear of facing the camera. Every journey starts with the first step. You can even record a live and send it to your sibling or partner or friend or family member and get feedback. Repeat it daily so that you improve on video content creation.
